|Only One Way To God?
Yes, indeed there is only one way to God. It is through His son Jesus. When sin entered the world, a plan was in action. God would send Jesus to die in our place. God cannot look upon sin since he is completely righteous and holy. Jesus willingly came to Earth as a human being to be the substitutionary sacrifice to pay for our sins. Jesus became wholly human and God at the same time. Before Jesus came to the world, animal sacrifices covered the sins of the people. These sacrifices didn't remove sin. Jesus was the Lamb of God, the last sacrifice for all sin from the beginning to the end of time. All sin past, present and future was paid for at the Cross.
Acts 2:24 "But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him."
John 20:27-29 "Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
All other religions are wrong. This may sound like a harsh thing to say, but it is true. Only Christianity says it is by Jesus only that you can be saved.
Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
God loves us and wants us all to believe in Him.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through or Lord Jesus Christ."
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
Romans 5:10 "For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!"
Other religions give a list of things to do or places to go in order to have eternal life. It is not by works that you are saved. No chants, incantations or repetitious nonsense will bring you to God. There is no karma or reincarnation. Only the gift of salvation will allow you to live eternally. Salvation is a gift that everyone can receive.
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast."
Romans 3:20 "Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin."
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,"
The only things that are real are belief in the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God has given salvation through Jesus as a free gift to all by his wonderful grace. Everyone can come to Jesus in repentance. You could be the worst person in the world and still come to Jesus. Jesus loves everyone and wants all of us to enter his kingdom. We are to tell all of the world about him.
Matthew 28:18-20 "Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
1 John 2:28 "And now dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming."
Jesus will be coming back for the saved very soon. Just look at the world. All of these things that we see in the news, on our streets, even in our own homes is a signal that we are near the end this life as we know it. This may seen scary but it doesn't have to be. If you have taken Jesus as your Savior, you have nothing to worry about. You have the rest of this life to look forward to as well as eternity with God and your saved loved ones. We are in the world but not of the world. We are just passing through this world. Our eternal destination is heaven on earth.
